Miniaturized analytical methods for determination of environmental contaminants of emerging concern – A review

چکیده

The determination of contaminants emerging concern (CECs) in environmental samples has become a challenging and critical issue. present work focuses on miniaturized analytical strategies reported the literature for CECs. first part review provides brief overview CECs whose monitoring is particular significance, namely personal care products, pharmaceuticals, endocrine disruptors, UV-filters, newly registered pesticides, illicit drugs, disinfection by-products, surfactants, high technology rare earth elements, engineered nanomaterials. Besides, an downsized sample preparation approaches provided. Particularly, methodologies involving microextraction used enrichment are discussed. Both solid phase- liquid phase-based techniques highlighted devoting special attention to recently approaches. Special emphasis placed developed materials extraction purposes techniques. In addition, recent contributions flow strengths, weaknesses, opportunities threats point need portable devices have been identified critically compared with chromatographic methods coupled mass chromatography.
